Saturday 28th November - bike **** - Two rivers including lunch at Falkenham Church– mainly cloudy but sun late.

Back on the bikes for the second time this week helped by the light airs with the odd glimpse of the sun too:) Morning at home then with soup and sandwich packed we head off at 12.30 avoiding the busy prom by going inland past to Grove to Marsh Lane. We have to lift our bikes over the closed gate before reaching Kings Fleet where we turn left to Falkenham Church. Again, we have lunch with ‘Emily’ plus a squirrel and a robin but no buzzard today. We enjoy the view down to the Deben but a little chilly to sit too long so we head towards Kirton to check out a picture framer for the painting we have just had done, Mag will ring them next week for a price. Over to Grimston Lane to our tree lined route back, Mag was a little nervous about it being muddy but it has not rained for a while and it was fine and the whole route was pretty quiet too, always a plus! At the dock railway line Mag turns left for home while I go right for a trip down to the viewpoint which is fairly busy as is the prom on the way home but am treated to a bit of a sunset. Home after over three ours for the usual cuppa and cake. With no foil at the moment and cold with light winds we could do something similar tomorrow?
